My
Projects

I wrote Cammie, Queen of the Neighborhood to honor a dog who overcame immense challenges. Cammie was a breeder dog who survived a difficult past and found a second chance with loving guardians. Helping (and her humans) transition into a life of trust, joy, and freedom was a deeply meaningful journey, and writing her story allowed me to process grief while celebrating her resilience. Through this book, I hope to offer comfort to others experiencing pet loss and remind them that the love we share with our animals never truly fades—it transforms. This book is now available in bookstores and on all your favorite bookstore platforms.

I wrote Being a Good Dog in the Human’s World to bridge the gap between dogs and their people—to help humans better understand their canine companions and build stronger, more compassionate relationships. Through real-life stories, insights, and practical guidance, this book offers a window into the canine mind, showing how dogs navigate our world and how we can meet them with patience, empathy, and understanding. This book is now available in bookstores and on all your favorite bookstore platforms.

Client Intake and Behavior Change Data Tracking Workbook

I developed my Intake and Behavior Change Data Tracking Workbook as a practical tool for behavior specialists, trainers, rescues, and guardians to track, assess, and refine behavioral progress in animals. The book helps collect information and collaborate with other professionals.

For behavior specialists and trainers, this workbook offers a structured approach to documenting intake details, identifying behavior patterns, and adjusting intervention strategies. It helps create tailored plans based on real-time observations, ensuring that modifications are both effective and informed.

For rescues, understanding behavior is crucial in preparing animals for adoption. This workbook helps track behavioral shifts from intake through rehabilitation, allowing organizations to tailor interventions and find the best possible homes for each animal.

For guardians, whether fostering, adopting, or working through behavioral challenges, this tool provides a way to track changes, recognize progress, and make thoughtful adjustments to support their animal’s growth. Understanding behavior over time leads to better decision-making and stronger human-animal relationships.

I designed this workbook to ensure that behavioral changes aren’t just observed but understood, allowing for compassionate and informed support tailored to each individual animal.

I use the proprietary workbook with my clients and will make it available to pet professionals fall of 2025
